It’s my pleasure to welcome you to The Enterprise Edition, TRT’s new and improved newsletter designed to keep you up-to-date with the latest news and industry insights.
This is the next step in our goal to become a more transparent and responsive business, and follows the recent launch of our new website and online customer service dashboard, TRACSS.
As we move into our 11th year, in this edition I’d like to reflect briefly on TRT’s journey in what has been a tumultuous decade for the IT industry.
Since TRT opened its doors, there have been many factors that have shaken up the industry dramatically. While sound business strategy is an important factor, it is the loyalty and support of our staff, customers and suppliers that has enabled us to succeed in a tough industry.
At the heart of TRT is a committed and energetic culture that has driven the growth of the business by attracting the best and brightest people from across the world.
Even from the very beginning when it was me, my wife and mother-in-law in a garage, we realised that a great culture and great people would underpin our success. So we made the decision to hire first for attitude followed by qualifications, experience and knowledge. Looking back, this was the most important strategic decision we made and still gives TRT its edge.
Eleven years on and we still hire and promote based on attitude. I may be biased, but in my opinion few companies in the IT industry come close to having the same level of professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm as that shown by our team at TRT.
As the business grows across many locations, preserving this tight-knit culture becomes more challenging, but it is even more important. This is the only way we can truly serve our customers, ourselves and the company.
We are extremely proud of the many long-term relationships we have built with staff and customers over the last decade and I’d like to say thank you for sharing your journey with us.
