On a Friday night in April, the TRT team and a group of rugby league mad clients saw Melbourne Storm take on the Manly Sea Eagles in the highly anticipated Grand Final rematch at Olympic Park.
When you combine a group of passionate rugby league fans with a private box, flowing refreshments and a great view of the try line, it's always going to be a great night.
In the end, Melbourne Storm were way too good for Manly in a very one-sided affair resulting in a thumping 26-4 win reminiscent of last year's 34-8 grand final victory.
Despite this, there was some exciting rugby league played with Billy Slater turning in an accomplished performance, opening the scoring with a skilful step and a dummy. Slater got another one over the line at the beginning of the second half to put Melbourne in a dominating position.
Melbourne Storm's 4-wheeler supporter vehicle also put in a good display keeping us entertained with some creative on-field driving displays.
"During the week we're all very focused on getting the job done. These regular events are a great way for us to say thanks to our clients and also get to know them a little better in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. We're looking forward to the next one!"
