In a whirl wind tour across the eastern seaboard, Cameron Huysmans, TRTs Technical Services Manager presented a series of breakfast seminars explaining how TRT & TSM FastBack can create a powerful data back-up and rapid recovery solution that spans your key UNIX & Windows environment and remote offices for less than $100* per day.
Cameron Huysmans explains "TSM FastBack gives you the power to quickly restore any amount of Windows data, anywhere in the organisation, from any previous point-in-time, no matter what happens to cause a data loss".
The TRT, TSM Fastback offering is made up of 3 main components:
- IBM TSM FastBack for disk-based, block-level, incremental data capture and near-instant data restore.
- IBM TSM FastBack for Microsoft Exchange providing incremental data capture and instant data restore for any e-mail objects such as a message, attachment, calendar entry, contact, task or note.
- IBM TSM FastBack for Bare Machine Recovery providing restoration of an OS volume on dissimilar hardware in under 1 hour.
